SERVICES

ELECTRICITY	supplied, at no charge, and used to heat water for showers etc; please only switch on immersion heaters when required, to minimise electricity usage
GAS	supplied, at no charge, from bulk storage tank
WATER	metered and although no charge is made to users, care should be taken to minimise wastage to help keep running costs down
HEATING	Background heating in all the sleeping accommodation is by radiators which operate on a timed basis. Dining room and Leaders Lounge have gas fires. Activity Hut is heated by two electric convector heaters. No additional charge is made for heating.
WASTE DISPOSAL	Bins provided for disposal of rubbish. Sorting of glass, tins & plastic would be helpful. Excess rubbish must be removed or taken home.
TELEPHONE	a coin-box phone is available in the Leaders Lounge
